Rapid Rail have initiated a new approach with Port and Harbour installations – embedded systems.
Whilst we still offer conventional systems (using rail clips and steel reinforced crane rail pads to support the rail on steel soleplates), the embedded system offers the complete solution of a fully supported rail within a very narrow chase. Embedded rails mean improved efficiency. Tripping or crossing hazards are largely removed, as is the time and financial expense of having to fill the chase with a filler material – usually asphalt.
We are delighted to announce that Rapid Rail has once again been selected to supply and install the latest Phase Three at Teesport in the North of England.
Our installation teams not only install ground rails but also high level rails on the container cranes themselves. All Rapid Rail puddle arc welding and THERMIT procedures are approved and tested. Our practical experience combines with creative expertise to make Rapid Rail the company of choice for all your rail requirements.
