COVID-19 Update - 01.06.2020
Our offices and site installation activities are now resuming and we would like to keep you updated with the most recent action we are taking to Safeguard our Employees, Customers, Suppliers and Business stakeholders at this time, whilst continuing to operate at a reduced capacity, adhering to the latest Government Guidance.
With regards to availability, Rapid Rail have reopened our offices and have a small team of engineers available to carry out some installation services where it is safe to do so. We will continue to carefully monitor the situation in respect to COVID-19 and are closely following the UK Government and NHS guidance in terms of conducting work activities.
We have already taken a range of measures to adapt our working methods to include, social distancing, improved hygiene standards and providing regular updates and feedback for our employees to keep them safe and informed.
As all projects are risk assessed, additional measures will be incorporated into our assessments in relation to COVID-19 and the preventative measures that will be included within our activities when on site. 2 metre Social Distancing and High Hygiene Standards are the key areas we are focusing on and PPE is available and provided when Social Distancing is not possible. We kindly ask our clients to support us in helping to keep our employees safe when they attend site by maintaining the same standards we are trying to adopt, as set out with government guidance. We kindly ask all clients to complete Hazard ID forms and advise us of any additional site-specific measures that we need to be aware of. Our Contracts Managers will be in touch to discuss this further.
